I have been doing this a long time, but maybe I didn't get enough sleep.

I made six new users. I approved them. I then added them to a new group. I gave the group standard access to the board. I then gave them access to three specific forums.

When I log in as these group members... they can't see any forums at all.

I've been through the permissions twenty times, and I can't figure out what I'm missing. Please help.

I will say this: phpbb3 permission management is a nightmare among nightmares. We're using it for something around here and its impossible. I'm sure there are folks who claim its well done and necessary, but the implementation and interface absolutely sucks.

Have you checked whether the group has permission to view the forum? Permissions are both user-level and group-level. Make sure the group has standard permissions to all forums.
